Help Rescue the Manatees

They have been slowly losing their homes and their food source for years. Recently, however, the Manatees have been losing both, and at an unprecedented rate. That also means that we need help and people like you to help rescue the manatees. The good news is it is also easy to help save the manatees with organizations like Manatee Haven.

The harm and threat of issues like boats and pollution are continual and ongoing threats to sea creatures like manatees. With the growth of waterfront resorts, properties, and developments in places like Florida, algae blooms have become a serious threat to the existence of manatees. With the resulting sewage, fertilizer run-off, and manure that enters the water, developing algae blooms destroy not only the habitat of the manatee but also their primary food source, Sea Grass.
